Helen Krulich-Ghassemlou’s reminiscences of her life with the Iranian Kurdish leader (assassinated in Vienna, Austria, in July 1989) have become available in German at the beginning of 2012.

The original version - "Une Européenne au pays des Kurdes" or A European Woman in the Land of the Kurds) was published in French by Éditions Karthala, Paris, in May 2011. Translations into other languages (Kurdish, Persian, and English) are missing, still.

For the time being the German version, which was produced with the author’s consent and support, can be read online only:

The title is "Wiens Kurdenmord-Opfer Ghassemlou war mein Mann"/Ghassemlou, victim of the Viennese ‘Kurdenmord’ was my husband. (An English translation of the German introduction to the web-presentation can be found as an attachment on the home page.)
