Kurdish American Education Society (KAES) once again joins the Irvine Global Festival, organized by the city of Irvine on October 1st , to bring together thousands of people to share the stunning beauty and diversity of many rich cultures, practices, religions, crafts, arts, cuisine, and folkloric traditions found in our communities across time and space. Bring your children, family and friends for a day of fun with world cultures in Irvine.
The day will feature hundreds of cultures, lively music and performances by different bands including our own Kurdish folk dancers and musicians, display of cultural artefacts, mouthwatering food, tasty cookies and pastries with their unique flavors and aroma, a myriad of children’s games including some of our own at the Kurdish American Youth organization’s booth. Take part in a raffle to win a Kurdish souvenir at the end of the day. Tour the world in one day as you enjoy different colors, tastes, and flavors in the California sun.
Time: Saturday, October 1, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
