A Kurdish activist cycles from Norway to Belgium on the 20th of June 2011 the international day of action in support of political prisoners in Iran and to protest the death penalty in Iran. Suleyman Chokali cycles from Trondheim in Norway to the European Parliament in Brussels to raise awareness about the plight of political prisoners in Iran including Muhammad Sediq Kaboudvand, the founder of the Kurdistan Human Rights Organization who has been nominated to receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011.

By cycling the distance of 2200km, Suleyman Chokali hopes to draw an international attention to the violation of human rights in Iran. The lack of attention given to the human rights abuses in Iran by the international community has emboldened the Iranian authorities to imprison torture and execute prisoners of conscience.

Together in unified voice we can amplify the voice of prisoners of conscience in Iranian jails in order to prevent the Iranian government from continuing human rights violations in silence.

By supporting the candidacy of Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand for Nobel Peace Prize in 2011, we endeavour to defend the prisoners of conscience in Iran.
